Absolutely AMAZING!!! Finally a delicious Indian dish that is spicy but not hot. I had given up on butter chicken because I prepared it using a sauce that came out of a jar and quite frankly, we found it to be rather flavorless. This recipe was well worth the trip across town to purchase the spices I needed. While at the store I picked up some frozen naan. Not as good as the naan my daughter makes using a recipe from this website, but much better than some other naan I once purchased that wasn't frozen.

I will start by saying that I am a horrible person. There were a number of ingredients that I did not have on hand, so I made substitutions with what was available. I used bone-in chicken breasts, a combination of curry powder and spices to resemble the tandoori masala mix (thank you for guidelines, Britishbaker). That said, I gave this a high rating because, despite my best efforts, it was still delicious. I suspect my version would not pass for authentic butter chicken, but I still enjoyed every bite. Thank you for sharing. I will try to come closer next time.
